Britt Robertson by Sorbetti Britt Robertson by Sorbetti
Finally finished. Here's an actress from The Secret Circle and Life Unexpected. When I saw the reference picture I was like: "I HAVE TO draw this!!" The details in the jacket are the reason why I wanted to draw it. I've never drawn blonde hair before either so it was a real challenge for me to try to keep it blonde. There's something wrong with the face. I just can't figure out what it is. Otherwise I think I succeeded very well. I had no idea I could draw like this.. all those details I mean. I kind of surprised myself. :D

The reference: [link]

-A4 sketching paper
-Derwent graphic pencils (3H, HB, 3B), HB mechanical pencil, tissues and q-tips, kneaded eraser
-Approximately 35 hours

-Rewards-
All-World-Works group ([link] put this work in a gallery of "Best of Traditional Fan Art" ([link] along with many other BEAUTIFUL artworks. Thank you so much for them! :aww:

Well for this piece I used just this.. sketch paper. I think it was from "Foldermate" sketchbook. :D Nowadays I use Canson drawing paper. Don't forget to use some tissues to make the pencil traces even smoother. :)

Thanks! I loved that 'Johnny' drawing of yours. He looks a little bit like he's coming out of the paper! :D

Love it, I know what you can't spot is just a slight miss on the cheek bone shape on the left and the illusion of the face being narrower on the right because the hair is too dark right next to the ear the side burn bit, not that girls have sideburns you know what I mean. Anyway that is what I picked up. But the overall execution of this piece is extraordinary...be proud super job!!!
